My male Cane Corso is under weight for his age and breed. I found out he was part of a litter his mother rejected at vital age where he needed nourishment. He also had worms when we took him to the vet. We rescued him at 6 weeks and he weighed 5.29lbs. Since then he’s been on a high protein diet and has tripled in mass however is still so small. Is there anyone out there with any advice to help along his growth?

your male look very good and healthy ,it is not to heavy but you need to feed him with premium food but wit max 50% protein , corso is a molos dog it need carbohydrates and some fat. Give him K9 complete growth or Pet phos grand chien ,tose got vitamins and minerals and can help him grow, and you should ind someting for ligaments and joints, u can give him some natural HGH or Testosteron it can help allitle to .Ceers and be your dog in good health.

Hi Anne, I think the only people that can answer that is either a Vet or a very experienced Cane Corso breeder. I think if you keep feeding him good food and a good amount and exercise him, nature will take care of itself and the weight will increase. To much weigh on a cane corso at a young age is not good anyways. My Cane corso is now picking up speed with his weight and have no doubt your will. He looks a lovely dog and in good hands.
