We bought Bo from a Border Collie breeder where we had gotten our dog Bindi. She was so well mannered, medium sized but just perfect, so we didn't think twice to go to them when we decided to give her a sibling. I fell in love with Bo from the time I saw his picture. We met the parents who are also medium sized and the rest of the litter seem the same. But as soon as we got Bo he started growing at a really fast pace. We have never seen such a big Border Collie. Most people mistake him for an Aussie. I just purchased a DNA kit just to find out if he is a true Border Collie. But no matter what comes back, we are so in love with our gentle, guffy, giant. I will post an update as soon as we get the results.

Test came back. Bo is 100% Border Collie going back at least 5 generations. He keeps on growing and I will update his weight as soon as we take him to his vet. He is too big to carry to weigh him on our scale.

An update on our Bo. We took him to his annual vet appointment at 16 months old and he weighted 74.6 lbs. He is a big boy.
