I finally weighed Dexter for the first time on a certified scale since he was a year old. I thought he was about 135 pounds but it turns out he is 155 pounds. First off he is not fat he could maybe lose 5 pounds. I have no idea how or why he is so big. He has brothers that are around 120 pounds but none close to his size. He has no health issues and is very agile for his size. I'm not complaining I like him this big. He is quite popular in the neighborhood and everyone knows him from our walks. He is friendly to people and animals as long as they respect his limits. Anyway just thought I would post his weight for anyone who might find it interesting.

I was just now able to translate your message to English. My plans are like yours I don't plan on ever hunting with my dog either. He is just a family pet and guardian. As to health issues Dexter has had no problems at all and he is now 4.5 years old. I was amazed when I weighed him for the first time since he was 1 year old on a certified scale and he is now 155 pounds. He is not fat he is just huge. I'm glad to hear your dog doing well and I'm sure he is beautiful as well. Best wishes to you and your dog. I hope he gives you many years of companionship. Jimmy
